The long saga over how much restaurants should pay to keep their streateries in the public right of way appears to be over.

On Tuesday, Jan. 4, the City Council approved a new ordinance to collect $500 a month through April 30 from the 16 restaurants with temporary structures, for a total of $2,000. (Kelnero took its down a month or so ago once a new onsite patio was finished.)

After that date, restaurants are allowed a grace period through May 15 to take down their structures.

Its over! Lets let it be over...End service on April 30ht and have two weeks to disassemble. Its done. Now lets move forward as any more talk of this is just causing anxiety and further fighting...now is the time to pull together..ITS OVER get it thru your heads... This time NO does mean NO.
