Taking the dip into Puget Sound.

The 15th annual Polar Plunge at Brackett's Landing North in Edmonds wasn't as crowded as the record number of folks in 2020.

Because snow and COVID.

But it was a great event enjoyed by all. It was all started by Brian Taylor of Daphnes on Main Street. This year featured a special guest: Daphne Loney, a friend and the bar's namesake, visiting from New Orleans for her first plunge.

Said Taylor: "Louise Favier, my business partner, and I were sitting at the table one night shortly after leasing 415½ Main St. Daphne's photo happened to be on the refrigerator, and the rest is history."...
