With the departure of Public Works Director Phil Williams this week, the City of Edmonds has seen a complete turnover of its directors in the past two-and-a-half years.
Two left in 2019 under Mayor Dave Earling’s final term: In May, Human Resources Director Mary Ann Hardie departed for a similar position in Lacey after a disagreement over salary. A month later, Parks and Recreation Director Carrie Hite took a similar job in Redmond.
