I just read in this week's Edmonds Beacon that Economic Development Director Patrick Doherty is representing the following:

I believe it really wasn't an emergency to begin with but ok. However now it seems people are pretty much back to normal in every other way except to vax or not to vax. Masks are not being worn as they were in the beginning. Vaccines are now available. But really we are having Ball games and all sorts of things with out masks and big crowds are present. SO if we can do all I see and all we do then we are no longer in an emergency situation. There is not more 6 feet distancing.. SO no it is not an emergency and I would like to see our retail have a chance. Thats it.
