Sen. Maria Cantwell urges support for local journalism

From July 2017: U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell stopped by Brackett's Landing North on Saturday, July 8. Cantwell had been invited to help local divers celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Edmonds Underwater Park. She walked to the end of the jetty with diver Yara Silva.
On Thursday (Nov. 4), U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.) spoke on the Senate floor to urge her Senate colleagues to support the local journalism provisions in the Build Back Better reconciliation package.
