Retirement after 50 years? Rich Lindsay still has work to do

On the occasion of interviewing Rich Lindsay for half a century of service to the City of Edmonds – the back-and-forth done – the question of where to take a photo naturally came next.

It wasn't an easy decision.

Lindsay has spent 50 of his 71 years making sure Edmonds' parks look amazing and function well. In the beginning, that meant pushing lawnmowers and taking a wrench to plumbing, among other chores too numerous to mention.
