From October 2020: Police gather at Boo Han Oriental Market in Edmonds after a triple shooting Tuesday that left one person dead.
Duy Phuong Nguyen, who last month pled guilty to first-degree murder and two counts of first-degree assault that left one woman dead and a man and woman injured, has been sentenced to 45½ years in prison.
Snohomish County Superior Court judge Edirin Okoloko also ordered that Nguyen have a lifetime of no contact with the survivors of the shooting.
Nguyen, 28, was convicted in the Sept. 29, 2020, shooting at Boo Han Oriental Market on Highway 99 in Edmonds. Nguyen turned himself into Everett police later on the day of the attack, faces at least 25 years in prison.
