Tibbott leading Fraley-Monillas; Johnson, Cass ahead

After the first count from Tuesday’s general election, former City Councilmember Neil Tibbott has a huge lead over incumbent Position 3 incumbent Councilmember Adrienne Fraley-Monillas with 6,056 votes, or 68% of the vote. Fraley-Monillas has 2,830 votes, or 32%.

For Position 1, incumbent Kristiana Johnson is leading challenger Alicia Crank with 5,120 votes, or 57% of the vote. Crank has 3,796 votes, or 42%.

For Position 2, first-time candidate Janelle Cass is leading another first-time candidate, Will Chen. Cass has 4,672 votes, or 51.82% of the vote. Chen has 4,328 votes, or 48.01% of t...

Congratulations to our winners. I liked what Mr. Tibbott said in this article. I think he will be just great. With the lead as it is It is evident that Kristiana Johnson (yeah) will be keeping her seat and keeping us informed and always accurate and thorough. We don't about Will and Janelle yet...That is a very small lead. To be honest I liked them both so I really don't care which one. I do think that if the military ballots are not yet counted there is a good chance those votes will mainly go to Janelle. Just a guess. SO I guess we wait.
