Despite the pleas of several public speakers, the Edmonds City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to continue meeting remotely through Zoom.
Councilmember Kristiana Johnson abstained, and Councilmember Diane Buckshnis was absent.
Voting in favor were Council President Susan Paine and Councilmembers Laura Johnson, Luke Distelhorst, Adriene Fraley-Monillas, and Vivian Olson.
Public comment focused on switching to a hybrid model so citizens could attend meetings in person.
The matter will be brought up again in a month.
