Deklund DeBell is competing in his final year on the Maverick Cross-Country Team. A senior captain, Deklund has been our best male runner since his freshman year and is a versatile athlete who shows leadership and dedication to the sport. Deklund leads by example and motivates his teammates. He stayed focused on his training throughout the pandemic and had great success during our abbreviated cross-country and track seasons last year.
