Questions about redistricting

Re: redistricting proposal ("Could Edmonds vote with King Co.?" Sept. 23): I am ignorant of the ramifications of having my current Edmonds legislative district changed to one in King County. I am curious. Would the change then subject affected residents to the taxing policies and rates suffered by our neighbors in King County?

I'm thinking of property taxes, sales taxes, water and sewer taxes, gasoline taxes, telephone taxes ... all higher in King County than in Snohomish County.

Will those affected by the change be subject to King County's ordinances, busin...

Slow down Edmonds. This is a particular issue on 5th Ave between Walnut and entrance to city - both directions. I was nearly hit in a crosswalk at Howel by a downhill speeder. Shocking that violators include residents. An enforcement program is needed.
