'It's not always what it seems': Woman pleads guilty to wire fraud in Highway 99 arson

Connie Bigelow's Miniatures & More store can be entered from Howell Way in Edmonds. She has admitted to arson and insurance fraud at her former location, on Highway 99.

On Tuesday, Sept. 28, a day after pleading guilty to wire fraud in connection with arson for an insurance scam on her shop on Highway 99, Connie Bigelow was still doing business in her third Edmonds location.

"It's not always what it seems," said Bigelow, 53, inside Miniatures & More at 610 Fifth Ave. S. Several customers milled about the store, whose entrance is reached through Howell Way.

Bigelow refused to comment further, only saying that she "will be taking care of her consignors."
