Edmonds restaurant wins national award for design

Leftcraft opened on Main Street in May 2020

Edmonds' Leftcraft picked up a national award for its design.

Leftcraft, a craft beer-focused restaurant at 519 Main St, has received a national new-restaurant architecture design award in the "casual restaurant" category. It beat out Chicago and Brooklyn, N.Y., restaurants in the 17th annual Hospitality Design Awards.

"It's pretty inspiring for an Edmonds restaurant to be competing at this level, and helping support Edmonds as an upscale and evolving food destination," said Mike McMurray, who owns the space along with his brother and sister-in-law. McMurray is now building Main Street Commons at Sixth Avenue South and Main Street.
