Pacific Northwest's blood supply needs an urgent boost

In efforts to increase donations, Bloodworks Northwest has partnered with the local music community to educate the region about the importance of giving blood.
They have launched a new "Music's In Our Blood" campaign, with the goal of recruiting 10,000 new donors by the end of the year. It takes 1,000 blood donors a day to maintain a healthy blood supply for the community.
Bloodworks Northwest is teaming up KEXP, Sub Pop Records and Starbucks to share the voices of musicians, artists and DJs who have stories of impact and how blood donations have positively affected their lives.
