Moving on: Johnson, Crank, Cass, Chen

Two council seats to be decided Nov. 3

Results from the Aug. 3 primary have been certified, and early results did not change.

Incumbent Kristiana Johnson and challenger Alicia Crank have moved on to the Nov. 2 general election, and first-time candidates Janelle Cass and Will Chan will advance in Position 2.

The result means that appointed incumbent Luke Distelhorst will leave his Position 2 seat at the end of the year. Distelhorst was endorsed by Mayor Mike Nelson, Council President Susan Paine, and Councimember Laura Johnson in his bid to retain his seat.
