Volunteers helped remove invasive nightshade in the Edmonds Marsh along Highway 104 over two weekends recently.

Another work party is planned Aug. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon.

The purpose is to remove the invasive nightshade that is impacting marsh water flow and fish passage, and killing trees in the riparian (buffer) zone. More information: [email protected]
