'Beach Studies': Sketching Edmonds

Not being a person who does well in direct sunlight, I nevertheless headed down to Marina Beach Park on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Sketch pad, pencils, watercolors, and water bottle. As luck would have it, I found a vacant bench on a very busy day at the beach.
The first subject to attract me was a young girl who appeared to have had a very active day at the beach. She stood and stared as I began to lay out my artist tools ,curious but wary.
