"Jim" passed away peacefully at his home in Mount Vernon, Washington, at the age of 79. He follows his second wife Valerie Gail (1949-2009) of 19 years; and is survived by his wife Dana, four sons, one daughter, and nine grandchildren. Jim was devoted to his family and loved to spend time with his nine grandchildren. Jim worked in the scaffolding business for 35 years, but his true passion was collecting antiques and studying history. His pastime was filled with collecting, crosswords, and reading about history.
His wonderful sense of humor, his boisterous laugh, and his gregarious smile would liven any conversation. Jim will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
A memorial will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at St Mary's Church, 207 N. Main St., Coupeville, Washington at 9:30 a.m. Graveside ceremony to follow at Sunnyside Cemetery. All who knew him are welcome!
