Farmers market moves uptown in Edmonds

The action moved uptown on Thursday, July 8, proving that farmers markets can succeed outside of the Bowl.
The inaugural Uptown Edmonds Evening Market debuted on 236th Street SW between Highway 99 and 84th Avenue West, adjacent to Edmonds Lutheran Church.
There were 26 vendors, including a few regulars from the Summer Market downtown.
Performing were the Jake Bergevin Trio and the Jewel Tones.
Among those attending were Mayor Mike Nelson and Councilmembers Adrienne Fraley-Monillas, Luke Distelhorst, and Susan Paine.
