Volunteers donate 'summer survival kits' during heat wave

A group of volunteers led by Edmonds business attorney Jenna Nand collected donations for "summer survival kits" that they distributed to the local homeless population.
"Our area was under an excessive heat warning last weekend," Nand said. "It was a dangerous period for anyone outside, especially children, the elderly, and pets."
