Information sought on gravesite desecration | Letter to the Editor

Last updated 6/4/2021 at 11:40am

My wife, Shirley Wambolt, was recently interred at Edmonds Memorial Cemetery. On June 1, her gravesite had many flower arrangements, like most of the other sites as Memorial Day had just been celebrated.

When I visited on June 2, I soon noticed that during the previous night most of her flowers had been scattered to other gravesites, as were the flowers at other nearby sites.

Also, my daughter-in-law had placed a metal print of Shirley at her site and that was now gone and couldn't be found. This picture is obviously of no value to anyone else.

I have filed a report with the Edmonds Police. Please inform the police of any information you have that could lead to the arrest of the scum who performed this desecration.
