Last updated 6/1/2021 at 4:47pm

Puget Drive will close to vehicle traffic Wednesday, June 2, as the City's Parks and Public Works Departments combine to remove deceased trees and perform routine maintenance.

On this section of State Highway 524, from 196th Street SW at 84th Avenue W, to Olympic Ave, the road must close to perform the removal of dead trees by the two departments.

While the road closure is being enforced, the departments will perform maintenance to the city's Stormwater system along with vegetation control in public spaces.

Signage and barricades will notify the public of the lane restrictions and closure of all affected streets and intersections. The work will begin by City staff at 7 a.m.

This work is projected to conclude in the afternoon of June 2 and the road will remain closed until all work concludes.
