The Town of Woodway has a new police chief: Alan Correa. Former Chief Doug Hansen retired at the end of April.

Woodway Mayor Mike Quinn, who announced the appointment in an update to residents, noted that Correa has served as a Woodway police officer since 2005.

Woodway contracts with the City of Edmonds for most of its police services. Woodway has four part-time officers and a part-time chief who are full-time officers at other cities.
