In case you needed a reason to vote in this year’s elections for City Council – either for a particular incumbent or a challenger of your choosing – longtime Councilmember Adrienne Fraley-Monillas provided some candid and transparent thoughts about what many guess is a 4-3 voting bloc in favor or Mayor Mike Nelson’s initiatives.

At the end of a recent council meeting, she said she’s heard comments about the council’s 4-3 votes. But before the current council, she said she was often on the three and sometimes the two side of a 4-3 or 5-2 vote.
