The plan for Marina Beach Park in Edmonds.

Edmonds councilmembers have approved Mayor Mike Nelson's authorization to sign the State of Washington Recreation and Conservation Office Certification of Applicant Match for two possible grants of $500,000 each for the Marina Beach Renovation project.

According to Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Director Angie Feser, part of the project is a new tidal channel which daylighting – or uncovering Willow Creek, currently in an 1,100- foot pipe underneath the park. This provides access for salmon into the Edmonds Marsh estuary area at the only access point where this channel can curren...

A nice addition to a public park would be a bathroom (no Honey Buckets), outside shower& water fountain?
