City seeking $1K in grants

On Tuesday, April 27, City of Edmonds staff will ask City Council members to authorize Mayor Mike Nelson to sign the State of Washington Recreation and Conservation Office Certification of Applicant Match for two possible grants of $500,000 each for the Marina Beach Renovation project.

In June 2020, the Park and Recreation Department applied for two $500,000 grants in the State of Washington Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) program for the Marina Beach Park Renovation/Willow Creek Day Lighting project.

These applications were approved by City Council Resolution March 17, 2020.
