Feeling restricted by the pandemic, over the past year I have been hiking in Southwest County Park, one that sprawls over 117 forested acres of mostly old-growth woods and steep ravines down to Perrinville Creek.
Established in 1972 when the University of Washington sold it to Snohomish County, it is the largest park within Edmonds city limits. But the current map of the park on Snohomish County's website shows only the section south of Olympic View Drive and one trail adjacent to the road on the north side.
This lack of an updated map makes exploring it a bit of an adventure.
