The sky is not falling on Edmonds
I enjoy reading the Beacon, keeping abreast of the goings-on in Edmonds, and hearing what my neighbors are thinking regarding the matters of the day. But the most recent group of Letters to the Editor March 25 was a different story.
Regarding both Walkable Main Street and the more recent outdoor dining structures located in parking areas, three outspoken neighbors would have us believe the end of the world is nigh.
Downtown was described as a "shantytown," Walkable Main was a "hare-brained idea," asking, "What have these people been smoking?," and lastly...
