Mail carrier Todd Hoover's shorts and shirt are retired.

Todd Hoover, an Edmonds mail carrier who never met a pair of shorts he didn't like, was celebrated at a retirement party Saturday, April 3, at the Perrinville post office.

Why the shorts? What's next for Todd after 40 years of service? (Hint: There's grandkids involved.)

Read the story Thursday in the Edmonds Beacon!

Todd Hoover said it never got too cold for him on his route. He says it's due to his Norwegian heritage.
