Rally for Unity held at Esperance Park

The Rally for Unity was held at Esperance Park.

Following a rally for Asian American and Pacific Islander a week earlier on Highway 99 in Edmonds, a couple of hundred people attend a rally and silent March Saturday, March 27, at Esperance Park in unincorporated Edmonds to send a message that "Hate Has No Home" in Snohomish and King counties.

It was organized by local business owners and Edmonds resident Will Chen, and co-sponsored by a number of community organizations and volunteers.

I love the Unity Sign. It is the only way, you know. We all must reach deep down and bring out the best in ourselves. We are going to have 1 chance to do this in an adult, civil and eager manner. Once United the benefits we can experience are endless. Diversity is a gift I think. Learning is everything and diversity is learning. Let's make it Fun...I for one can't wait. XO
