A touch of the green | Sketching Edmonds

The sun warmed our faces and the wind stayed at our backs.
I'd like to think we all have a touch of Irish, even if in spirit. The hardworking, layman's witty philosophy and love of the green applies to us artists, too. A dozen hearty souls joined me on March 17 at City Park to brave the elements and sketch outdoors. It was ARTspot's first "All-Are-Welcome" Sketching Edmonds event.
We found plenty of green, lit by spring sunshine and animated by a cool breeze. Many expressed appreciation for an excuse to be outside in the company of other artists.
