Councilmember Fraley-Monillas will run for another 4-year term

Councilmember Adrienne Fraley-Monillas has ended the suspense. She has filed for reelection to hang on to her Position 3 seat for another four years.

At the moment, no other candidates have announced that they will be competing against the incumbent, who has served on the council since 2010 and has held positions as president/mayor-pro-tem for three years, as well as vice-chair for two years.

"I am pleased to announce my intention to run for reelection," she said in a news release. "I have had numerous conversations with friends, supporters, and family in order to make this serious decision...

After what I have learned. Seeing the stagnation in this council. Sorry but you have had your turn at this repeatedly and frankly we need fresh ideas, we need to change our Council and you are it seems much to controversial to consider a plus for a fresh new council. Sorry, no offensiveness intended...its just a fact.
