I first spotted my wife teaching nearly 40 years ago, sneaking a peek through a classroom door. That was when she was finishing graduate school, and actually it would take another 20 years of performing before she went back to teaching, but I could tell. She was a born teacher.
Over the past year, then, I’ve been able to eavesdrop a little as her classes have entirely been taught from home. It’s a fascinating experience, and I get a glimpse of an unfamiliar generation.
