The shots came fast and furious for Edmonds-Woodway.

After battling Kamiak to a scoreless first half, the Warriors scored two quick goals to start the second half and ended up defeating the Knights 3-0 in a Wesco girls soccer contest Friday, March 5, at Edmonds Stadium.

Edmonds-Woodway coach Bill LeCompte said that the Warriors were a little sluggish to start the game.

"I felt like we didn't have the best of starts," he said. "We allowed them to dictate a few things. A few minutes in we kind of settled in, and we were able to get it more to the middle of the field where we wanted to be."
