Running for health, and a cause

Armando Ortiz is once again running for a cause: the Edmonds Food Bank.
He started Friday, March 4.
His run is called "The 4x4x48," four miles every four hours for 48 hours.
Donations to the food bank so for have exceeded $3,000.
He will start running at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 6-7. "I am taking this opportunity to bring people together for the common goal of promoting physical and mental health, as well as supporting a charity," he said.
Those who want to join Ruiz can at any point in his runs.
