County property taxes decrease for Edmonds in 2021

Assessed value for homes jumps to $672K

Edmonds homeowners will see a 6.4% decrease in their property taxes in 2021, according to information released by the Snohomish County Assessor’s Office.

The assessed value for houses in Edmonds increased to $672,300 from $635,300, with the levy rate decreasing to 8.2% from 9.3%.

In November, the Edmonds City Council voted not to raise the city’s 2021 property tax rate, but agreed to a 1% increase in the emergency medical services levy.
