Making street sense in Edmonds
The story of the city's streateries is one of citywide cooperation

When streateries first popped up on downtown Edmonds streets, the white-clothed tents – let's admit it – led to a messy look that took away from the charm of the city's historic buildings.
Take a look now, a year into the pandemic, and it's hard to miss that many now have the same clear, corrugated plastic and wood design. Much better. And they seemed to have weathered the snow.
What happened?
