Malcolm G. Clarke, the most wonderful man in the world, has died. Malcolm Grant Clarke was born in Bath, England, on a spring day in April 1928, and passed away peacefully on a gorgeous fall day in December 2020.

He is survived by his daughter, Gail "Lammie" Cash; his son, Rick (Joann); 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Malcolm had a long career as an artist. A lithographer by trade and well known for his expertise in the field, he was offered a position in Seattle in 1961 and moved his family down from Vancouver, Canada. At the age of 62, he retired and moved to Edmonds, where he enjoyed painting beautiful, scenic landscapes and spending time with his partner of many years, Gloria Priebe.

Malcolm loved poached eggs on toast, boxing, working out at the Harbor Square Athletic Club, and Christmastime. He was funny, artistic, and kind. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Lorna Letain, Irene Castle, and the love of his life, Gloria.

Malcolm will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held some time next year.
