Editor’ note: Chuck Wright, a longtime Mill Creek resident, writes the Darn Wright column for the Mill Creek Beacon. He was intimately involved in the cold case of Jody Loomis in 1972.

Thanks to advances in DNA technology, Loomis’ killer was confirmed to be Terrence Miller, who killed himself hours before being found guilty last month. (https://bit.ly/3fPcQgV.) Miller attended Edmonds public schools and lived on Beverly Park Road in unincorporated Edmonds.
