When we first met Aaron Giebel in the pages of the Beacon, the 12-year-old was busy creating a publication called Cute Kitten News when not attending Madrona K-8 or delivering the Beacon in his Esperance neighborhood.

We caught up with Aaron, now 15 and a freshman at Edmonds-Woodway High School. He's still working on the publication, which he distributes to appreciative neighbors, and created an online version to keep the feline happs going during the coronavirus pandemic.
