The citizens of Edmonds are blessed with some of the most beautiful parks and areas to view wildlife.
From Yost Park to the Edmonds Marsh, Pine Ridge Park to Brackett's Landing, there is an incredible diversity of birds, animals, native plants, and this time of year even fungi to enjoy viewing.
Though the experience of viewing native wildlife in the paths is always best, this unusual year and the increased family use of the parks gave me inspiration that one more destination site would enhance the Edmonds community.
That site would be a nature center.
