Peterson, Ortiz-Self win in general election

Although the presidential election between President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden was still undecided by the Beacon’s Wednesday deadline (Biden has 61% of the vote in Snohomish County), the results are clear locally and in Puget Sound.
Gov. Jay Inslee will serve a third term with 60% of the vote, well ahead of challenger Loren Culp.
After the first results on Tuesday’s general election were released, all four incumbents in the 21st and 32 Legislative districts – which serve Edmonds – were leading in the vote count.
