'Dear Edmonds' card campaign benefits nonprofits

During this past summer, Edmonds and Ballard launched handmade greeting card campaigns to foster creativity, encourage connection, and support local nonprofit organizations.
"Dear Edmonds" and "Dear Ballard" extended a challenge to their communities to engage in art and creativity. The invitation: Create handmade greeting cards with mixed media. All ages and skill levels welcome. Dear Edmonds kicked off on May 1 with a goal of collecting 1,000 cards by Labor Day. Dear Ballard followed suit on June 20, the first official day of summer, with a goal of 250 cards.
