Local landslide-prone rail area gets federal funds for mitigation

A portion of the railroad tracks between Edmonds and Mukilteo – subject to numerous passenger and freight rail disruptions over the years due to landslides – will keep some much-needed help from the federal government, thanks to U.S. Sen. Maria Cantwell, an Edmonds resident.
