COVID-19: A stress test | Moment's Notice

It would have been just like any other day in a pandemic, but last week we added the peculiarity of waiting for results from a COVID-19 test. We knew of no exposure. We stay home more than not, do not dine in restaurants, order groceries, and, of course, wear our masks.
The test was meant to be proactive, an attempt to feel just that little bit safer before a quarantine before necessary time (at a distance) with loved ones in high-risk categories suffering from this isolation. (Is anyone not suffering from this isolation?)
Tests … test. The word test comes from the Latin “testu” or ...
