Helping Hands: Kindness when we see chaos | Guest View

Shubert Ho and Michelle Reitan are collaborating with the Helping Hands Project.

A few days ago, I attended the August board meeting of the Edmonds Waterfront Center. The board president, Gary Haakenson, opened the meeting talking about kindness during these very chaotic and divisive times.

This made me think of the kindness that I see around me every day, specifically in my job. I am the social worker with the Edmonds Waterfront Center, and I have the privilege of organizing our Helping Hands program.
