Informational panel approved for Salish Crossing portico
Councilmembers on Aug. 25 approved to fund an informational panel for the former Edmonds High School portico, now located at Salish Crossing at SR 104 and West Dayton Street.
Funding will come from the council’s contingency budget.
The portico was installed at the former high school, now the Edmonds Center for the Arts, in 1909. It was removed in 2005. In 2015, the Echelbarger family, which owns the Salish Crossing center by the ferry, restored it at its current location.
