Eight months into a new Edmonds City Council – with a new mayor, four new members and three incumbents – how’s it going?
There are growing pains, as expected, as new councilmembers settle into their roles as legislators, and Mayor Mike Nelson as chief executive. Also as expected, veterans Diane Buckshnis, Kristiana Johnson, and Council President Adrienne Fraley-Monillas have directed most of the conversation.
But two recent actions – non-actions, really – have brought a level of disorder that can only be considered disconcerting.
