Clay Rundle, a longtime Edmonds resident, died peacefully Aug. 1, 2020, at the age of 84, due to multiple medical problems. Surviving him is wife Alice, daughter Michelle, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He grew up in Ballard, then went on to study at the University of Washington. He was a musician and loved playing saxophone in his own band. He was well suited for his career in sales. He participated in many civic activities and coached youth sports, as he loved to help others. Clay was well known in the antique business with his beloved wife of many years.
He was a member of the Lynnwood Elks and the Edmonds Senior Center. He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit. He had a great smile, and a laugh that was contagious. He was a kind man with a wonderful disposition. He loved life, traveling with Alice, being with friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions could be made to the Edmonds Senior Center. Special thanks to the staff at Crista long-term care facility.
