Patrons take advantage of outdoor seating at Scratch Distillery by the ferry.

August marks stricter rules about in-room dining at our local restaurants – now only people from the same household can sit together inside in a restaurant and with a max of five people.

Dining al fresco, however, is still available for friends and family from different households to gather. Restaurants across our area are creating temporary or permanent options for eating outside.

My husband and I are still fans of takeout and socially distant dining in our backyard, so be sure to keep supporting amazing Edmonds area restaurants that do not have patio or outdoor dining, like Thai By Day...
